November 24th is growing near and that means AGRIBITION! The students are excited and will be bringing home more info each day. Please pay close attention to their agendas for updates. Parents that are coming along have been selected and a package has gone home, please ask your child for your info package. These parents are: Mr. Friesen, Mrs. Rathgeber, Mr. Schick, and Mr. Mathisen. Thanks for your time in this important event!
In Health we have started a unit on Nutrition and Healthy Choices. One thing your child has been doing is keeping a food diary. We will be using the info from this for many assignments, so always remind your child what they ate. You may want to send notes in the agenda as a reminder.

The Challenge is On!
Starting November 10, 2008 we’re challenging students, classrooms, and families to Turn it Off…and Take it Outside. Screen time and physical inactivity are reaching new heights in Canada.
We are asking you to turn off the TV, computer, video console and any other ‘screen’ you use for leisure.
The concept is simple: Register online and log your non-screen hours each week. The individuals, classrooms, and families with the most hours logged will win some great prizes.
How to Enter:
· Visit www.saskatchewaninmotion.ca to register online.
· Log your hours weekly on the Saskatchewan in motion website – But don’t stay too long!
On a personal note, I am heading to Disney World from December 17 to December 24. As you may know, I have 2 puppies and they will need to have a place to lay their cute little heads. They are indoor pups who require two walks a day. If you think you could handle one or both, please let me know through this blog or by phone (school or home). You'd have to take them on the 15th or 16th and being Christmas we'd have to arrange a pick up time convenient with your family. It would be very much appreciated. Both pups are under 1 year.

Hey Mr.L. We can't take care of your puppies because we have Peanut and there wouldn't be someone to take care of them if Mom is working and if Kaitlyn and I are at the farm. We might try the challenge. Have fun in disney world!

Hi Mr.L we had a hockey game yesterday and today. In the first game we won and I got 1 goal in the second game we played Saskatoon and we lost 17 to 0 because they weer a tier 1 team in a tier 2 tournament in the next game we won and I got 3 goals so we were in the B final against yorkton we won and I got 1 goal!
