Here is some much needed info for you and your family:
-Bubble charts filled in by May 14th.
-Back-drop brought to school May 21st.
-Rough copy of report done by June 4th.
-Back-drop completed by June 11th.
-Editing, revisions, and good copy done by June 16th.
June 17th should mark the day when all are completed. You will get information about the actual Heritage Fair date as soon I know it.
Here is the process:
Students selected a topic.
Research their topic creating jot notes.
Using the jot notes they filled in their bubble charts.
Using the bubble charts they wrote their reports keeping information from each section of bubble chart together.
Together we edit the report.
Students make revisions.
Students design and decorate their back-drop.
Students bring props/extras to go with their display( DVDs, costumes, sports equipment, food, posters, etc.) on the day of Heritage Fair. I provide the electrical outlet only, extension cords and DVD players are the students responsibility.
